Three female college students from universities in Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan province, "warned" vehicles parked illegally in front of a hospital on Tuesday to remind them not to violate the rules next time, according to China News, a website set up by the official China News Service.
The three college students wore army-green t-shirts, black hot pants and strapped fake guns to their thighs, embarking on a "kill" mission for illegally parked vehicles at the West China Second Affiliated Hospital of Sichuan University. They also left cards for drivers with tips on the correct way to park. The women said they used the unusual method to make people pay more attention to the issue of illegal parking. They wanted to make an impression to the drivers in the hope that they will be more thoughtful next time.
They also hope their mission will make more car owners be more civic-minded as they drive the streets.
